Wesley Dunnam, O.D. M.B.A
Wesley Dunnam, O.D., M.B.A., a native of Jonesboro, Arkansas, started his career in optometry at Arkansas State University, where he earned a B.S. in biology in 2012. He proceeded to graduate from Memphis’ Southern College of Optometry in 2016. There, Dr. Dunnam was actively involved with several organizations, including the Fellowship of Christian Optometrists, which gave him the opportunity to serve on different mission trips to provide eye care to underserved areas. In 2017, Dr. Dunnam expanded his education by earning an MBA at Christian Brothers University with a focus on healthcare administration.
Since 2018, Dr. Dunnam has been a practicing optometrist in Paragould. He first joined the Progressive Eye Center team when it was purchased from Dr. Jami Veal’s practice. In a significant development in June 2023, he purchased the practice from Dr. Jerry Ellis, the owner of Progressive Eye Center. The Progressive Eye Center clinic underwent a rebranding as a result of this evolution, becoming what is now Paragould Family Vision.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Dunnam and his wife are actively involved with the music ministry at church. They enjoy outdoor activities as a family, and it wouldn’t be unusual to see the Dunnam’s at a local bluegrass festival, playing with their kids at the park, or at an Arkansas State ball game cheering for the Red Wolves. Dr. Dunnam is thankful for the opportunity to serve the vision needs of his community at Paragould Family Vision.
